Slow Pitch Indoor League

COED & MEN’S LEAGUES! And now Friday night Sober League!!

The Strike Zone is excited to announce Utah County’s Premier HitTrax Indoor Slow Pitch Softball League with a cash prize of $400!! Here is the low down:

16 Teams
3-5 players for each team (3 required to play)
6 inning games or 30 minutes
Machine pitched with real balls (no balls and strikes just hits!)
Any bat permitted
Season is 4 weeks with tourney at the end of the season
HitTrax system keeps track of hits, outs and scores
League nights will be Wednesday and Thursday
Double Headers
$275 per team
Tourney will be top 12 teams
$100 prize money for top exit velocity within the league and tourney play.
$400 for tourney winner* (*a minimum of 5 teams must be in the league to qualify for $400 prize)
Co-Ed League starts at 6pm / Men’s League start at 8pm / Sober League starts at 6 Friday nights

A cage will be made available for warm ups 1/2 hour before game time

How does it work?

The HitTrax system tracks every ball put into play so that you can get game like at bats. It will keep track of batting averages, exit velocities, launch angles and distance in real time.

Rules:

You must have at least 3 to play. If you do not have 3 at game time you will forfeit the game. Players cannot be added once the game starts.
Ties will be ties.
Home team can decide what stadium they want to play in.
Wins = 3 points, Ties = 1, Loss = 0. This will determine tourney seeding.
No new hitting will begin at 25 minutes.
There is zero tolarance for language or throwing bats, or bad sportmanship. Keep it classy y’all. Player will be asked to leave and will count as an out when it is that player’s turn if ejection happens midgame.
All bats are acceptable
Women and Men are welcome to sign up
No limits on homeruns
League is 4 weeks long
A player must play in at least 2 games to qualify to play for tourney play
Coed League requires 1 female per 3 players, 2 females per 4 players, 2 females per 5 players
